Irish singer-songwriter Susan O’Neill aka SON played a blinder of a night at Dublins Vicar Street.
This beautiful seated show was also attended by another Irish singer and songwriter that being Mick Flannery as guest repaying the favour as Susan had guested of Micks last tour after doing the album ‘In The Game’ together.
Before Susan took the stage, the night was opened with a 30 minute set form Northern Irish folk singer-songwriter Joshua Burnside who at one point gave the Tories a bit of a bashing to the delight of the crowd.
Joshua usually has a few band members with him, but last night it was just himself and the acoustic guitar.
Shortly after Joshua’s set finished. Susan took the stage with a single band member on keys and ran through two numbers before being joined by more member of the band and the night really took off as they played through some more before being joined by Mick.
This show happened to be Susan’s biggest headline show to date and very well deserved as it should have happened long before now.
