Irish rock outfit Stone Blind State tap into their rawest instincts on their new single “Electric Lady,” a track that confidently leans into the band’s grunge and punk foundations while sharpening their modern edge. From the opening bars, the song crackles with energy, driven by thick, distorted guitars and a rhythm section that feels both urgent and tightly controlled.
The track thrives on contrast. The verses simmer with a gritty restraint before bursting into a chorus that’s loud, hook heavy and unapologetically bold. There’s a clear nod to 90s grunge in the fuzzy guitar tones and sneering attitude, but the punk influence is just as present in the song’s punchy pacing and no nonsense structure. Stone Blind State don’t overstay their welcome here, instead they hit hard, make their point, and get out.
