25 years and Skindred at last get a headline show in Dublin and a sold-out one at that. The first time the band were on Irish shores it wasn’t to long ago, as they opened for Volbeat at Dublin’s 3Arena. On that night Benji Webbe made a point of mentioning a few times why have they never got an Irish date? someone must have been listening and thank the reggae rock gods that they were, because this headline gig was a roof lifter, turning the venue into a right little sweat box as the band blasted out their blend of nu-metal/reggae rock hits giving the crowd the boom boom from start to finish. Also on the bill were UK sludge metal act Raging Speedhorn and Irish metal act Idle Discourse (Didn’t make it in for the latter)
