Sirenia / Temperance / Symphonity – Symphonic Metal Nights tour, Opium Dublin 12.05.2024

The Eight night Symphonic Metal Nights UK / Ireland tour consisting of symphonic metal / gothic metal acts Sirenia / Temperance / Symphonity hit Dublin on its third night to play at Opium.
First up on the bill were Czech power metal outfit Symphonic who played 6 song set-list and got us all fired up for the next band and of-course Sirenia.
But before Sirenia got to take to the stage it was the turn of Italian symphonic metal act fronted by Michele Guaitoli and New Yorker, Kristin Starkey, giving the crowd a lively set as both singers bonce off each other very well with both harmonies and humour. The band were missing Marco Pastorino as he was attending his sisters wedding. Playing a longer set than the previous band they interacted with the crowd well and got some crowd participation going at one point during the song ”Diamanti” and finishing out their set with crowd favourite ”Pure Life Unfolds”
So it wasn’t long before the tour headliners arrived out on stage to rapturous cheers over their intro and Emmanuelle Zoldan started straight into ”Addiction No. 1” and a fourteen strong set-list consisting of old and new tracks taken from their latest album 1977.
