Shayne Ward – returns to Ireland with two headline shows at The Ambassador Theatre, Dublin

Multi-platinum recording artist and winner of the second series of the UK talent show The X Factor, Shayne Ward returns to Ireland with two headline Ambassador Theatre, Dublin shows on Friday, 10 October 2025 & Saturday 11th October 2025.

Shayne Ward rose to fame as winner of the second series of the UK talent show The X Factor. His debut single ‘That’s My Goal’ was the 2005 Christmas No. 1, spending four weeks at the top of the chart and selling 2 million copies – still one of the all-time twenty biggest best-selling debut singles. It was followed by two more hit singles, ‘No Promises’ and ‘Stand By Me’. All featured on his self-titled debut album, which entered the chart at No. 1 in April with first week sales 200,000 copies. Shayne has since had three further Top 40 hits and three more hit albums.

Shayne Ward has firmly established himself as a powerhouse in the music industry with remarkable achievements that span over two decades. He has sold over 3 million albums and over 5 million singles worldwide, with an impressive tally of over 2 billion worldwide on-demand streams. His success is marked by 15 global platinum albums and achieving #1 in nine countries Shayne Ward is also an award-winning actor with a diverse and successful career across television, film, and theatre. He is best known for his impactful role as Aidan Connor in ITV’s Coronation Street, which he played from 2015 to 2018. On stage, he received critical praise for his performance as Stacee Jaxx in the West End production of Rock of Ages and went on to appear in national tours of The War of the Worlds and Band of Gold. His film work includes a lead role in the 2020 feature Black Ops, directed by Tom Paton, and he will next be seen in the 2024 comedy-thriller Young Gun alongside Alexis Rodney.

Shayne currently stars in the Paramount/Channel 5 drama The Good Ship Murder, where he also wrote and performs the theme song. In 2024, he expanded his repertoire once again as a contestant on the hit BBC series Strictly Come Dancing, bringing his stage presence to a new audience
