SharpTone Records – welcomes Glasswaves to the roster + band shares ‘fvck.me.up’

SharpTone Records is thrilled to welcome Glasswaves, a Rochester, New York-based trio that seamlessly blends dark pop, alternative rock, and electronic elements with a heavy and dynamic edge, to the global roster.

Today, the band has shared the video for gloomy and glitchy new single ‘fvck.me.up‘. Watch it here.

“What started as a completely different idea slowly turned into a mix of electronic textures and heavy guitars that just felt right,” shares singer Noah Rich“Once the chorus came together, everything really clicked into place. At its core, the song is about destructive love and emotional dependency that pulls you toward something you know isn’t good for you but can’t let go of.”

He finishes, “Within the world we’re building as Glasswaves, it reflects that loss of control and the feeling of giving yourself over to something bigger, whether that’s a person, a system, or something inside your own mind. This track is the first piece of a bigger story that will keep unfolding with every release.”

Stay tuned for more.

Regarding their new label home, Glasswaves says, “Being able to say Glasswaves is signed to SharpTone Records is honestly surreal. It’s a label we’ve looked up to for a long time, and knowing we’re also connected to the legacy of Nuclear Blast makes it even more meaningful. Starting this new chapter with our single ‘fvck.me.up’ feels like a perfect way to begin.”

Formed in May 2023, the line-up is rounded out by Owen Miller on guitar and Brendan Curtis on bass. In a short time, they have built a reputation for pairing atmospheric melody with explosive intensity, creating a sound that is both cinematic and emotionally raw.

Their music moves fluidly between haunting, electronic driven verses and massive, high impact moments, offering a balance of accessibility and aggression that resonates across genres. Paired with their war paint aesthetic, Glasswaves deliver a live show that is immersive, visceral, and visually striking.

In 2025, the band won the grand prize at the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands and earned a main stage performance at Warped Tour. That same year, they toured extensively, performing nearly 60 shows and spending close to 80 days on the road, quickly establishing themselves as a compelling and consistent live act.

Now signed to Sharptone RecordsGlasswaves are positioned for rapid growth as they continue to push boundaries and connect with a new generation of listeners. With a sound that refuses to be confined to a single genre and a proven work ethic on the road, the band stands ready to make a lasting impact across the alternative and heavy music space.
