Following an incredible summer, including main stage performances at Mother Bloc Party and Kaleidoscope. Packed out stages at Beyond The Pale and their show-stopping performance at Electric Picnic’s Salty Dog, the underlying theme of this summer has been their campaign to support Chappell Roan.
Tadhg has received the news that they will not be supporting Chappell Roan; however, they were blown away by the public and the industry’s support that they are bringing their version of a ‘camp pity party ‘, a fun and celebratory event. Chappell Roan broke my heart at Lost Lane this Thursday.

The pianist, the songwriter, the vocalist, the fashion designer. No matter the medium, SexyTadhg’s artistry is always surprising, authentic, raw and, above all else, thrillingly entertaining. Most recently named as one of the Irish Times ’50 to Watch’ for 2024 and won the ‘Radical Spirit’ award at the Dublin Fringe Festival. Their recently released latest single, ‘Ride The Wave’, was named as RTÉ Radio One Track Of The Week. SexyTadhg has recently sold out their debut Fringe Festival Show, Television in The Project Arts Centre, and received ⅘ stars from the Irish Times.
Tadhg has brought their larger-than-life show to Ireland’s most notable stages, festivals and events, from supporting two-time Eurovision winner Loreen at her sold-out gig in the Academy and playing the main stage at Kaleidoscope and Mother Bloc Party in Collins Barracks this year. Most recently, SexyTadhg took to the iconic Salty Dog stage at Electric Picnic at 1 am to bring their big band performance to 700+ people. Tadhg has also graced Beyond The Pale, Sea Sessions, The Late Late Show, The Grand Social, Culture Night Dublin, and even Irish-speaking festivals such as Lá Mór na Gaeilge and Féile na Gealaí. Being a proud Gaeilgeoir, Tadhg often performs as Gaeilge in both solo and big band settings. Tadhg takes great pride in bringing a powerful queer perspective and presence to Irish language and music.
“The reason I love music so much is that on stage, I have free reign to dress, look, and sound however I want and to be my most authentic self. People seem to think that it’s all a costume, that my expressive and wild presentation is a performance, and the “normal” Tadhg is the truest Tadhg. When it’s the other way around.”
Tadhg has recently dipped their toes into the world of television as a judge on TG4’s Junior Eurovision and as a guest judge on Fíbin Medias Síorstial.
Tadhg also participated in ‘Ireland In Music’ with the esteemed Irish musician Colm O’Snodaigh for the international programme commissioned by RTÉ. ‘Ireland In Music’ is available to stream on RTÉ Player.
