Today in-demand Paris/London based artist and producer Sega Bodega shares brand new single ‘’Set Me Free, I’m an Animal’ as well as a stunning music video directed by Claire & Rick Farin (Actual Objects).
The content of ‘Set Me Free. I’m an Animal’ explores feelings around physical and emotional restraint. The official video by Actual Objects (production credits include Caroline Polachek, Charli XCX, Yves Tumor) extends the sentiment of feeling lost, trapped in a situation that you can’t control, into a visual scenario. What happens if you surrender yourself to the natural course of things? How much of this experience is real, if no one else is there to experience it with you?
‘Set Me Free, I’m An Animal’ is the third single to be drawn from Sega Bodega’s upcoming solo album project due later this spring, with more details to be announced soon. Last month the Paris based artist shared ‘Deer Teeth’, a biting cut of left-field electronica which currently features on the BBC Radio 6Music playlist. In late 2022, he also shared ‘Kepko’, which was also playlisted at 6Music and features on the forthcoming album.
