Seafret – release their debut album ”Tell Me It’s Real” for the first time of vinyl

After the release of their new album ‘Fear of Emotion’, which features collaborations with James Morrison, KT Tunstall and Katie Gregson-MacLeod – now Seafret go back to where it all began with the release of a 10th anniversary edition of their debut album ‘Tell Me It’s Real’ – out now. The album will receive its first ever vinyl release, on ocean colour vinyl with a special foil embossed sleeve.
 
‘Tell Me It’s Real’ is the album that changed everything for Seafret, which took the then-unknown duo on a journey which has encompassed four studio albums and extensive global touring. It’s a record packed full of their signature songs, including the smash ‘Atlantis’ which went internationally viral between 2022-2024 leading to a UK Top 40 breakthrough, Platinum certification in the UK and Gold in Australia, and over 1.5 billion streams to date.
 
‘Oceans’ is another big moment, which famously highlighted ‘Game of Thrones’ star and Seafret fan Maisie Williams in its official video, while ‘To The Sea’ features Irish singer-songwriter Rosie Carney. Several other songs remain fan favourites and live staples to this day, including ‘Wildfire’, ‘Be There’ and ‘Give Me Something’.
 
All of the songs on the album were co-written by vocalist Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper, with production split between theBRIT and Ivor Novello winning multiple #1 hitmaker Steve Robson (Louis Tomlinson, Maisie Peters, Rascal Flatts) and Roy Stride of Scouting For Girls.
 
Seafret commented, “We never thought our debut album would take us to the places that it has. ‘Tell Me It’s Real’ will always be so much more than an album to us. It’s also us growing up, the ups and downs and everything that happened behind the scenes too. It’s the people we met on the way and how we dug in when times were tough.
