Scottish folk trio Salt House brought their current Spring Tour to a close with an intimate gig in The Spirit Store, Dundalk last night.
Their unique blend of Scottish folk mixed with ancient ballads and poems as well as their acapella vocals and range of traditional instruments was a breath of fresh air from some of the other gigs I’ve seen lately.
Their storytelling and audience interaction also makes the experience all the more intimate, while inviting the audience to sing chorus’ almost makes them become a member of the band themselves.
