Soy el fuego que arde tu piel,
Soy el agua que mata tu sed.
Perhaps you have heard these words delicately being sang whilst watching an incredibly powerful dramatic true story, NARCOS.
Yes, the legend himself Rodrigo Amarante, the writer of the theme tune Narcos, graced our lands on Thursday 10th of October in the beautiful Sugar club. A night full of beautifully crafted silence in between even more incredibly written songs flowing across multiple languages from Portuguese, Spanish, French, English and so on.
Coming from Rio De Janeiro, Amarante was greeted with a thousand embraços and even more beijos. Dublin is becoming one of the best places for Brazilian artists to visit and perform with the growing beautiful community of Brasileiros who adorn these shores.
A night to remember indeed.
