Rainbow Kitten Surprise – today announce their 2026 bones headline UK + IE tour to include a Dublin date

Genre-bending live sensations Rainbow Kitten Surprise today announce their 2026 bones headline UK + IE tour. Fans who pre-order their forthcoming album, bones before 19th August via the band’s store,  will be able to access a special pre-sale also via the store. This will go live at 10am on 20th August, with general tickets going on sale on 22nd August, also at 10am. The tour kicks off at O2 Academy in Leeds on 20th May, and will then see Rainbow Kitten Surprise hit cities including Nottingham, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester, before wrapping things up at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 9th June.

The four-piece release their new album, bones on 26th September via Atlantic Records. Quintessentially Rainbow Kitten Surprise while still raising the bar, bones journeys through love, loss, and perseverance across its 10 captivating tracks. Pre-order/pre-save bones HERE

With frontwoman Ela Melo’s most vulnerable songwriting to date and euphoric production by Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Orville Peck, Lainey Wilson), who worked with the band on 2018’s How to: Friend, Love Freefall, bones speaks to the band’s DNA while drawing from wisdom gained from over 13 years of making music together.

On the record, the band shares, “This record is the raw unfiltered sound of Rainbow Kitten Surprise doing what we love to do. We called it bones because we were clearing skeletons out of our closet. These were both musical and interpersonal dynamics that we had to release before we could make this record what it is.”

Rainbow Kitten Surprise gave fans a taste of the album last month with new single Dang, along with a cinematic video inspired by Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Of the track, Billboard praised, “There’s just something about Dang, the latest song from rock band Rainbow Kitten Surprise, that demands to be blasted out of the nearest speaker on a hot summer day.”

The new album follows last year’s LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX, which was released to widespread critical acclaim from Consequence,  Paste, SPIN, Billboard, and more. The record was also the band’s first album in 6 years, following How to: Friend, Love, Freefall, which has seen massive growth over the last few months, with hit track It’s Called: Freefall even being played in the latest season of Ginny & Georgia and reaching #1 on the Billboard TV Songs Chart.
