Dublin based musician Pink Rabbits has announced his return with new music in the form of ‘To Get To You’.
The song is a 2026 reworking of a track that features on his debut album ‘To Be Loved’ which was released last October.
Songwriter and Singer Paul Walsh says “To Get To You is about trying to reconnect with someone. There is distance between you and the person to whom you were once so close and you’re fighting for that connection again basically, trying to get back to them….to the way things used to be. We’ve all lost people in our lives over the years, it happens through one reason or another. I guess this song reflects on that and is a snapshot into the mind of someone as it’s slowly happening to them.
‘To Get To You’ was recorded and produced by Ciarán Parnell.
Paul adds, “the artwork for the single cover is a piece of work by Dublin artist Olga Evenden. I came across her work online and Escape To The Moon immediately caught my attention. It’s perfect for this song – it reflects the romantic notions in the song’s lyrics and the loneliness or isolation that can be affiliated with the song’s meaning”.
