Beloved Irish singer-songwriter Paddy Casey is back with a summer pop anthem, a celebration of life and self-expression. The new single “This Is To Move” is out now!

The record is not Paddy Casey’s first ramble into the world of pop and dance world , he’s dipped his toes in before, but this time he’s diving in headfirst. Marking the latest chapter in his long and successful music journey.

Inspired by his lifelong love of  Prince and funk pioneers Parliament “This is To Move” is a straight-up party of ’70s good times, and summer-driven pop, built around an irresistible bass groove, it’s upbeat, infectious and packed with the kind

of energy that makes standing still feel like a poor life choice.


Written and produced by Paddy at home, the record has a raw, home-cooked sound that gives it real personality and swagger, As Paddy says; ‘This is to move your body’


The record is also the latest taste of a larger body of new work Paddy has been quietly developing over the last few years. More new music is set to follow over the coming months, showcasing an artist continuing to evolve and explore new sounds while staying true to the songwriting that has made him one of Ireland’s most enduring artists that has defined his career.

For fans of the early records, there’s a special night in store at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, on 4 July 2026 as part of their Landmark Series, Paddy will perform Amen (So Be It) and his multi-platinum album Living live.
