Nyah Grace – releases ‘Obvious’ remix following chart success

Nyah Grace has released a Bill Z remix of her new song ‘Obvious’ following the huge success of her latest single ‘Down’. The track most recently topped the Music Week Black Music Chart for two consecutive weeks while also reaching No.24 in the main Music Week commercial chart.

‘Obvious’ is the latest song to be taken from her second album Divinely Devoted released last month via Palawan Productions. The track finds Nyah Grace addressing a relationship breakdown with a sassy lyrical tongue among ultra slick funky rhythms, jazzy breaks and a warm flow radiating lush soul.

Now the new Bill Z remix out today (July 30th) accentuates the empowerment of ‘Obvious’ as bright piano house soars alongside Nyah’s harmonies which are driven by a propulsive bassline and infectious shuffling rhythm.

Since its release in June, Divinely Devoted has spawned a number of hits with tracks such as the swaggering gospel of ‘Down’, the silky smooth ‘Only Mine’ and breathy heartfelt ‘Back Of The Cab’ receiving strong support across radio, TV and streaming alongside a wealth of critical acclaim.

Divinely Devoted led Nyah Grace to be featured across the likes of NPR, Stereogum, Billboard, Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Jazz FM, ITV, Sunday Brunch, Sub. TV and Trace TV alongside a whole host of high profile playlists on Spotify and Apple Music as well as becoming a face of the recent Adidas x SIZE? Superstar campaign.

Off record the Manchester by way of Oregon neo-soul singer has been stunning listeners live with new songs from Divinely Devoted at her recent shows. She recently toured the UK with Spill Tab, which was followed by a showstopping performance at the Global Soul Showcase at London’s Jazz Café earlier this month. She will be performing again in the capital tomorrow night (July 31st) at The Lower Third and tickets are available here.
