New-York band Nicotine Dolls will play The Workman’s Club on Saturday, 3 October.
Led by Sam Cieri alongside John Merritt and Abel Tabares, Nicotine Dolls have built a loyal global following through emotionally honest songwriting, powerful vocals and dynamic live performances.
Since forming in 2019, the band have amassed more than 80 million streams across their catalogue. Breakout single “What Makes You Sad” has earned nearly 20 million Spotify streams, while their cover of “The Best” is approaching 30 million streams.
They have also built a major online audience with more than 1.8 million TikTok followers and over 1 million Instagram followers.
In 2025, the band released their debut LP an Attempt at Romantic, a self-penned record exploring love, longing and vulnerability. SPIN praised the group’s “vulnerability and determination,” describing Cieri as a “charismatic, gravelly-throated powerhouse.”
Having recently wrapped a successful North American headline tour, and with another album in the works for 2026, Nicotine Dolls arrive in Dublin this October.
