Monday night at The Academy’s Greenroom Dublin felt like a big group hug. mxmtoon and Bea and Her Business brought a mix of good vibes, honesty, and catchy songs that had the whole room smiling.
Bea and her Business: the perfect start
She kicked things off with a lively, feel-good set. Her songs are a clever mix of pop hooks and real-life storytelling, and it’s impossible not to relate. She had great energy, chatting with the crowd like we were all old friends. It was the kind of opening act that didn’t just warm up the room, it made people genuinely excited for more.
mxmtoon: pure connection
When mxmtoon hit the stage, it instantly felt personal. With her ukulele and warm vocals, she created the kind of atmosphere where you just want to sing along and maybe cry a little too. Her set was full of fan favorites that had the crowd singing along, and her easygoing chats between songs made the whole night feel even more personal. It didn’t feel like a big polished production, it felt real, like being let into her world for a little while.
