The Academy lit up in every sense of the word on Wednesday night as Morgana took the stage for an unforgettable performance filled with surprises, emotion, and pure star power. Supported by the ethereal Last Apollo, the night was a journey from quiet reflection to full-blown celebration.
Opening the evening, Last Apollo captivated the crowd with a stripped-back set—just her and her keyboard. Her hauntingly beautiful voice filled the room, and you could’ve heard a pin drop as the audience hung on every lyric. It was an intimate, emotional start that set the perfect tone for what was to come.
Then came Morgana and she made sure her entrance was one to remember. Appearing on the balcony above the crowd for her opening song, she instantly had everyone’s attention. The surprise sent the crowd into a frenzy, their cheers echoing off the walls as she descended to join her full band on stage.
Throughout the set, Morgana proved she’s not just a performer—she’s an experience. Her powerful vocals, bold visuals, and connection with the audience created a show that felt larger than life. At one point, she put on a dazzling disco-ball helmet, sending lights dancing across the venue as she sang a breathtaking sight that had everyone in awe.
Later, she stepped off the stage to perform an intimate song among the crowd, her voice carrying through the sea of fans in a moment that felt deeply personal. But the night ended in pure celebration: “I’m Not Going Anywhere” had the whole Academy bouncing as colourful balloons rained down, fans singing, dancing, and throwing them into the air.
