Matt Hansen / Hudson Ingram – The Orchid Tour Live Gallery & Review from The Academy, Dublin 04.10.26

Matt Hansen brought plenty of energy to The Academy on Sunday night as The Orchid Tour arrived in Dublin. From the very off, Hansen was bounding from one side of the stage to the other and kept the pace high throughout the set. His vocals were as strong as ever and the crowd were fully behind him from the off. The show followed Hansen’s previous Dublin appearances, including his headline show at The Academy in March 2025 and his Iveagh Gardens performance supporting Train, later last year.

Hudson Ingram opened the night and quickly settled into the room, mixing his songs with plenty of interaction with the crowd. The recent high-school graduate asked the audience to teach him some Irish sayings and ended up learning “what’s the craic” on stage, while also joking about the friends he made in Swords. It was a fitting start to a night where Hansen kept things moving and gave the Dublin crowd a lively first show of The Orchid Tour.
