Mae Muller & Jodie Harsh – share euphoric club-pop anthem ‘Hallucination’

North London artist Mae Muller has unveiled her euphoric new single ‘Hallucination’, featuring Jodie Harsh via Tenace Records.

Teaming up with powerhouse Jodie Harsh to create her most immediate track to date, ‘Hallucination’ is a euphoric rush of club-pop perfection that sees Mae let go of the past and launch into liberation.

Speaking about the track, Mae says: “I’ve never said this about a song I’ve made before, but I genuinely feel like ‘Hallucination’ is a perfect song! Whenever I listen to it, I get that melancholy feeling mixed with euphoria that I’m always aiming for, and it just makes you want to dance! To work with Jodie on it has also just been so fun, and I think when you have fun writing / making a song you know it’s a good one.”

Jodie Harsh also adds: “‘Hallucination’ is a very human breakup song, but we wanted to inject a crazy rush of serotonin running through it. It’s euphoric and delirious, and when that bass and synth kick in, it’s HUGE. We just leaned all the way into that. We were losing our minds in the studio!”

Balancing the brutal truth with tongue-in-cheek humour, Mae is a pop artist with a conscience, pairing lyrical unease with a contrasting euphoric sonic palette. Her new music confronts modern disillusions, yet its sonics take a look backward, drawing on Y2K and 2010s pop nostalgia to evoke a more carefree, pre-digital sense of optimism. Channeling the spirit of British pop’s golden era, built around blistering breakbeats and huge choruses, it echoes the widescreen pop rush of the 2000s while remaining firmly rooted in today.

The new track follows the previously released singles ‘Wheels Come Off’ and ‘Tell You That’, which marked the beginning of a big, bold and fiercely independent artistic chapter.  Sharp, self-aware and most vitally, unmistakeably Mae, the hyperpop-flavoured tracks see her interrogate her tendency to catastrophise in relationships. Unafraid to turn her focus inward, Mae rejects influencer-style projections of perfection and lays bare her own messy tendencies for everyone to relate to.

Returning at her most vulnerable and yet most liberated; Mae Muller is creating high-impact pop wrapped in wit and delivered with a knowing wink. The new music signifies a defining shift as she takes a confident leap forward in creative vision and sonic power. This isn’t just music on her own terms, it’s an unstoppable redefinition of what pop stardom can be in 2026: independent, culturally astute, and unfiltered.
