Glaswegian indie rock band Lucia And The Best Boys kicked off their tour in Dublin at The Grand Social. Not only was it that bands first night of the tour, but also the bands first time in Dublin and by all accounts (The Band) they made the most of it by arriving two days before show day and they took in some of Dublin’s drinking establishments to sample the Craic Agus Ceol (crack and music). On the night folks were treated to two opening acts, first up was Last Boy who if you look closely you will notice Last Boy is in fact a Lucia And The Best Boys band member, while in the band he plays Keys and Guitar, but as Last Boy he plays his own original material with the odd cover thrown in, solo and armed with an acoustic guitar. One of said covers he had only came across on one of the afore mentions nights out in Dublin at a trad session and liked it so much he decided to learn it to play at this show. (sorry but name has slipped my mind) After Last Boy it was the turn fast rising Dublin alt-pop singer Valerie Rose who only made her breakthrough on the Irish music scene in 2022 ,but is fastly making a name for her self on not only the Dublin, but also the Irish music scene. So keep an eye out for her. Some might have already hear her music feature in the TV show Made in Chelsea.
