Lōwli – Window in the Woods album launch live gallery & review from The Unitarian Church Dublin 15.11.2025

The Unitarian Church on St Stephen’s Green provided the perfect, intimate backdrop for the much-anticipated debut album launch of Lōwli, the solo project of Galway composer Roisín Lowry. Once Lōwli and her full band took the stage, the church’s candlelit architecture and resonant acoustics became instrumental in elevating the performance into something almost spiritual.

The church with its soaring ceilings and stained-glass windows was a character itself in the show. The dim lighting and soft shadows created a cocoon-like space where the audience could feel they were part of something sacred. Lōwli’s stage presence matched her music – calm, thoughtful, emotionally open. She spoke little between songs and let the music do most of the storytelling.

The album launch was a deeply affecting and sophisticated showcase of her debut work. Fans of ambient music and modern folk can expect to see Lōwli’s name all over the contemporary Irish music scene in the near future.
