London Symphonic Rock Orchestra are on a five date Irish tour at the moment and the show at Vicar Street Dublin happened to be the middle one. A five hundred strong audience took up their seats in the venue for what was only going to be a spectacular show of rock classics played by the 12 member orchestra and spectacular it was! Opening with ”We Will Rock You” with male vocals accompanying the orchestra set the tone for the night as hit after hit was played, those hits including ”Sweet Child of Mine” ‘White Wedding” ”Zombie” which can only be described as amazing with female vocals. Other such rock classics that got an airing were ”Nothing Else Matter” ”Tainted Love” not necessarily rock unless its the Scorpions version which it was and who cares as it was fantastic. The version of Killing in the Name was only mind blowing and then finishing out the encore with ”Enter Sandman” left no-body disappointed and all able to go home truly satisfied.
