Llorén – shares the new single ‘Take Me Away’

‘Love Is Alien (To Me)’ is an expansive, three-chapter narrative which uses an imaginative intergalactic sci-fi story as the vehicle for a very human exploration of themes such as love and heartbreak, family, birth and death, travel and belonging. It brings together LLORÉN’sinstinct for cinematic storytelling, each song standing out in its own right while forming part of a much grander tale.

‘Take Me Away’ opens ‘Chapter 1: Planning The Escape’. It sees LLORÉN bringing a flamboyant theatricality to the pop landscape, her powerful, yearning voice delivering a soaring hook supported by thunderous beats and high drama sonic contrasts. Lyrically it’s simple yet instantly intriguing – what other forms of life and love exist on planets far beyond what we’re already aware of? ‘Take Me Away’ is captivating as a single, and its vivid imagery would translate to the screen and the stage too.

LLORÉN says, “I think we’ve all wanted to eject ourselves from the planet at some point or another, the question remains, would whatever’s out there be better than this? ‘Take Me Away’ is fun, it’s romantic, and it’s silly, but in a ‘this isn’t all that silly’ kind of way!”

LLORÉN wrote and produced ‘Take Me Away’ alongside Anna Schulze (Gin Wigmore, Ingrid Michaelson).

‘Take Me Away’ sets the scene for ‘Chapter 1: Planning The Escape’ as LLORÉN leaves Earth in search of a different kind of love. What comes next will be revealed as subsequent chapters are released…
