The announcement caps off what has been an extraordinary return for the band. Following an overwhelming response from fans, their reunion shows have exceeded all expectations. Tickets for their London date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire sold out in days, prompting additional dates to be added due to phenomenal demand.
Reforming for an 16-date UK and Ireland run, Little Angels have proven that time away has done nothing to diminish their following. Despite not releasing new material for three decades, aside from a one-off appearance at Download Festival in 2012, the appetite to see them live remains strong.
Speaking about the newly announced Irish shows, Vocalist and songwriter Toby Jepson comments
“And it keeps getting better. We’re delighted to be getting back to play Belfast and Dublin as part of what has turned into an epic run of shows none of us could have predicted. Both of those wonderful cities hold great memories for the band, so thanks to our loyal Irish fans for your patience, it took some doing, but we finally got there!”
During their late ’80s and early ’90s peak, Little Angels were among the UK’s biggest rock acts. They achieved ten UK Top 40 singles, and their third album, Jam, debuted at No.1 on the UK Albums Chart.
Now, lifted by the incredible reaction to their comeback, the band are preparing to hit the road with the full classic line-up: vocalist Toby Jepson, guitarist Bruce Dickinson, keyboardist Jim Dickinson, bassist Mark Plunkett, drummer Mark Richardson, plus the Big Bad Horns.
