LIDO Festival – announces Skrillex for B2B set with Jamie xx

LIDO Festival, the newest addition to London’s summer calendar, is coming to Victoria Park this June 2025. Today, we’re excited to announce the most recent artist additions to Jamie xx‘s one off curated day. Jamie will be playing three sets throughout the day; his headliner set as well as two exclusive back-to-back sets with very special guests; Skrillex and Nia Archives. Making this a truly unmissable one-off event.

The latest special guest artist joining the line up for a b2b set with Jamie is the multi-Grammy-winning DJ and songwriter, Skrillex. This news follows the recently announced acts for Jamie xx’s headlining show ‘The Floor’; Shy FX b2b Tim Reaper, Todd Edwards b2b Bullet Tooth, Villager, and a special b2b DJ set between Jamie xx and Nia Archives, marking Nia Archives’s first-ever b2b set taking place on Saturday 7 June. Previously announced acts are: Arca, Sampha, Romy, 3-hour set from DJ Harvey, Panda Bear, John Glacier, DJ Gigola, Shy One, Wookie and livwutang.

LIDO welcomes East London local Jamie xx as the first headliner for 2025. A forward-thinking beatmaker and producer, Jamie xx significantly influenced the sound of the late 2000s and beyond. Known for his work with The xx and his solo dance projects. Whether on record or djing live, Jamie expertly blends a kaleidoscope of genres, finding an emotional quality within the music that underpins and unites dancefloors worldwide.

Sonny Moore – better known as Skrillex – is an acclaimed DJ, singer and songwriter. Based in LA, Skrillex has won the greatest number of Grammys by an electronic artist, totalling in an incredible 9 wins. In 2011, he was named MTV’s Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year. To date, Skrillex has an incredible discography, having collaborated with some of the biggest industry names today, including Justin Bieber, MIA, A$AP Rocky, FKA Twigs and more. Last month, Skrillex dropped a surprise record, abbreviated to ‘FUS’, featuring a huge 34 tracks, as well as collaborations with the likes of Dylan Brady, Boys Noize, Wuki, jamesjamesjames, and swedm®, as well as previous collaborators Varg2™ and Starrah, amongst many others.

A new-gen junglist and creator of UP YA ARCHIVES, Nia Archives refuses to be confined to one label. Since her emergence in 2020, the 24-year-old producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, and visual artist has been at the forefront of jungle’s new wave. Her collagist soundscapes have introduced the genre to a new generation of clubgoers while earning her an impressive list of accolades. She placed third in the prestigious BBC Sound of 2023, and has previously won the MOBO Award for ‘Best Dance / Electronic Act, ’whilst being nominated again this year twice. This year, the Yorkshire artist made Brit Awards history as the first-ever Junglist to receive three nominations in one year. She’s up for ‘Best Dance Act’ and ‘Artist of the Year,’ following her ‘Rising Star’ nomination in 2023. In just a few years, Nia Archives has cemented herself as an essential name in dance music. This special b2b performance, with headliner Jamie xx, will mark Nia’s first-ever back-to-back set and is an exclusive performance for LIDO.

Praised as “an artist of many moods”, Andre Williams, aka Shy FX, is regarded as a pioneer of jungle and drum & bass. His career spans an exciting and electric range of hits, from mainstay 1994 anthem ‘Original Nuttah’ to 2019 album Raggamuffin SoundTape fan favourite ‘Roll The Dice (ft. Stamina MC & Lilly Allen)’. 2024 saw Shy FX release his highly anticipated 10-track EP, Rudeboy Design SoundTape, in collaboration with Mr. Williamz. A creative crossover, the project flits between dancehall, drum & bass and jungle, with Dance Wax calling it proof of Shy FX’s ever-lasting legacy as “one of the most important electronic artists this country has to offer”.

His B2B set comes from jungle lore king, Tim Reaper. A famed producer, his dynamic work creatively meddles with expectations of drum & bass, creating vibrant tracks steeped in experimentation and nods to soundsystem culture. There’s no place you’d want to be under the sun in Victoria Park catching a masterclass in UK jungle music.

Todd Edwards is a music maverick: an unstoppable force who has influenced some of the biggest names in music, including the likes of Daft Punk. With over 3 decades in the music scene, he’s become an integral part of the UK garage scene. As The Guardian puts it, he helped “kickstart a musical revolution in Britain”. Over the years, Edwards’ discography has become a treasured marker of innovation, known for his signature four-to-the-floor beats and incredible beat splicing skills. An innovator and an expert, Edwards’ LIDO set will be an unforgettable summer moment.

Where you see convention, Bullet Tooth brings brilliance. Artfully joining up genres of UK garage, rap and rave, his hidden identity makes his cracking style all the more interesting. Known for his booming basslines, the artist has carved out a cult following online, wheeling out bootlegs on SoundCloud. Last year, the DJ and producer wrapped up his summer on a major high in Ibiza with Damian Lazarus and Black Coffee. This year, he’s continuing to change the game with his upcoming set at LIDO Festival.

Villager is a breakthrough DJ act from Alex Young. After playing with huge acts Kaytranada, Skrillex, Diplo, and Cashmere Cat as a teenager, he’s become a rising name on the DJ scene. Now 27, Villager has supported Sammy Virji and Barry Can’t Swim. His innovative style has been described as “taking cues from the richly textured electronica of artists like Four Tet and Jon Hopkins, repurposing club rhythms into detailed, emotive music that rewards closer listening”, as said by Future Music magazine. A must-see at LIDO Festival, Villager is showing us what the future of electronic music sounds like.

Of his headline show, Jamie xx says: “It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my home town. Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists.”
