Late Night Drive Home – have released the new single titled “day 2.”

Now just a few days away from the release of their debut album as I watch my life online (out this Friday via Epitaph), late night drive home today releases one more single titled “day 2.” A little reprieve from the digital doldrums of living their entire existence in the shadow of the internet, the new offering is upbeat and late-night dance-floor ready. “day 2” chronicles meeting up with a person in real life and spending some time away from your phone. Simple as it may seem, our minds are hardwired differently in the modern age when it comes to looking for love.

Singer Andre Portillo shared that today’s release is about, “The waking from a long, emotional slumber that drags you from habituated responses to self-awareness in the modern age of online dating and hookup culture. The discovery of one person that changes your perception of what it’s like to be loved.”

Bringing their debut album to the road this summer, late night drive home have been announced to play UK’s Reading & Leeds this August. The band states: “were so excited to play in the UK again and share the stage with so many talented performers. We’ll be playing some of our new songs off of , “as I watch my life online” and can’t wait to display our love for music to everyone!”
