King 810 – welcomes you to The Family with new track  ‘Rustbelt Nu Metal’

Flint, Michigan – a huge part of America’s industrial rustbelt history, home to infamous trailblazers KING 810, and the inspiration behind the band’s latest single and title track ‘Rustbelt Nu Metal‘, out now. Recorded live on the spring equinox in one day in front of a live studio audience of 50 people, the music video flashes images of the harrowing reality of life on the streets of Flint; contaminated drinking water, gun fights, knife crime, unsafe sex work, and drug dependency, all topped off with vocalist and creative visionary David Gunn‘s signature snarls and fervent venom.

Taken from their next upcoming album Rustbelt Nu Metal, which is slated for a June 2025 release, the band share, “RBNM was recorded live on the spring equinox 3/23 in one day in front of a studio audience of 50. There are no samples, keyboards, synthesizers, click track/metronome used in recording. Give this many listens and many views and we will reconvene with our collective thoughts on the matter.

Very truly yours, KING 810.”

Creatively on fire and inspired by this way of recording, the band intend to record a second album in this series in June on the summer solstice and a third, again in the same fashion, on the autumn equinox.

The chaos returns to UK and EU soil in Autumn this year, with a string of dates across the country. From intricate and theatrical storylines to smoking pianos and caricatures of prolific figures, it’s safe to say the artistic and creative ideas are overflowing in the band’s live arsenal.

With no performance an exact replica of the previous, on this tour announcement KING 810 warn, “It is with pleasure and anticipation that we announce the coming of a few strange and unusual weeks across your continent. We have given you quite the break from us, however that’s over with now. Prepare yourselves!”
