American metal force KING 810 have returned today with their malevolent new track, “Hungry Gods”.
Following the final instalment of their boundary-pushing Rust Belt Nu-Metal project, which saw the band release three thematically linked albums in twelve months, the new song marks the beginning of a new chapter in the band’s story; one laden with darkness, tenebrosity, and unapologetic honesty.
Speaking on the new single, vocalist and songwriter David Gunn shares:
“From natural and unnatural disasters to madness, greed, and anything that bleeds – Hungry Gods explores the idea that human affairs could be nothing more than sustenance for our more sophisticated galactic farmers.”
“Hungry Gods” arrives just before KING 810‘s headline Summer Solstice tour gets underway, which also sees them perform at the critically acclaimed Hellfest this weekend. The band have also slotted in performances at Jera On Air, Graspop, and Fajtfest festivals. The tour takes the group around the U.K. and mainland Europe, before they then head back to the U.S.A. for dates with For The Fallen Dreams and Weeping Wound.
