Kendino and Deleon hit hard with their new single “RUST”, out June 10th and featuring a slick verse from Sushee. From the jump, the track hits with serious Prodigy vibes, chaotic, gritty, and full of that noisy energy that makes you shake your head in approval.
It kicks off with a lo-fi, voice-note style intro that drops you into the middle of some laughs and chatter, before launching into a heavy, industrial-style beat that refuses to sit still. The rhythm pulses like a club track at 2am, drawing on UK rave, house, and experimental hip-hop influences, all delivered with pinpoint control.
The verses come fast, with a flow that feels effortless. Kendino and Deleon play with cadence, flipping between flows without ever losing pace. The production keeps your head nodding throughout, with layers of distortion and sudden switch-ups that keep things exciting.
Halfway through, Sushee steps in and completely shifts the tone. Her vocals are smooth, cool, and refresh the track with a totally different energy. Her flow is as effortless as what came before and this is a clever change of pace that gives the track a second wind.
“RUST” is unpredictable in all the right ways. It sounds like the kind of track built for warehouse walls and festival stages, full of tension and release.Kendino, Deleon, and Sushee are clearly not afraid to experiment, and this track is proof they know exactly what they’re doing. Fair play for not playing it safe with this one guys!
‘Rust’ flies in with a 7.5 out of 10
