JP Saxe  / Nina Cobham – A Grey Area World Tour, The Academy, Dublin 21.04.2024

Canada hit Abbey street this week as JP Saxe was in town bringing his “A Grey Area” tour to the Academy, Dublin.
Starting off the night, we were greeted by Nina Cobham from Manchester with her beautiful bilingual story telling, coming in and out of English and Spanish on top of a bossa Nova style backing guitar.
She was so good with the crowd in between songs and her performance really felt like we were all just chilling in her sitting room.
Definitely an artist to keep an eye out for. Muy bien.

The stage was beautiful set and the crowd was filling up for a memorable performance from Saxe.
With a sitting room aesthetic and a scattering of lamps and plants, we were in for a cozy night. JP certainly knows how to woo a crowd.
I could see it in everyone’s smiles and eyes that they were just hanging on every word.
And in between songs he made it his mission to interact and have the chats.
You know an artist is truly dedicated to their fans when they take the time to really be present in the moment and vibe with the audience.
It’s those kind of performances that truly stick with you for a long time, and JP was certainly present and his performance was beautifully memorable.
