In a special live show Johnny will celebrate the 45th Anniversary of ‘What’s Another Year’ at Vicar Street, Dublin on 29th August 2025. Tickets are available from this Friday, 22nd November at 10am.

Throughout his career, which spans four decades, Johnny Logan has issued at least 40 singles and 19 albums.

In the Eurovision Song Contest of 1980, Johnny Logan proudly represented Ireland with the song “What’s Another Year,” surpassing the runner-up, Germany, by a margin of 15 points.

This captivating tune not only claimed the top spot on charts across Europe but also achieved notable success in Ireland and the UK. Fast forward to the 50th-anniversary concert in Copenhagen, Denmark, in October 2005, where Logan’s “Hold Me Now” earned the esteemed title of the 3rd most popular song in Eurovision history.

Among the 14 finalists, “What’s Another Year?” from 1980 stood out and garnered well-deserved recognition.

With a global reach, the song has achieved impressive sales, exceeding 3 million copies worldwide.
