So its that time of they year and the festivals are kicking into gear and the annual pilgrimage to Kilkenny City is in full swing as The Roots festival started on Friday (2nd).
Jenny Don’t and the Spurs were the first show for me as i was busy elsewhere on Friday.
As always people packed themselves into the award winning venue thats Cleere’s for an early start at 1pm and they weren’t disappointed and the hangovers and cobwebs from the night before were royally shaking off and Jenny and the boys kicked up a storm with their blend of honkytonk, garage rock and cowpunk all the way from Portland, Oregon.
