Fresh from a whirlwind year that’s seen him sell out venues across Ireland and beyond, Galway songwriter Jamie McIntyre has announced a brand-new run of Irish shows for February 2026, and it comes alongside the news of a brand-new EP, For Folk’s Sake, due September 26th.
Following the success of his sold-out Summer tour and his upcoming sold-out October tour (which includes dates in Whelan’s, Dolan’s, Cyprus Avenue, and two triumphant nights at Galway’s Róisín Dubh), McIntyre is keeping the momentum rolling with seven more Irish dates early next year.
February Tour Dates 2026
6th – Set Theatre, Kilkenny
7th – Garavogue, Sligo
20th – Spirit Store, Dundalk
21st – Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast
22nd – The Social, Donegal
27th – The Haven, Waterford
28th – Gleneagle Club, Killarney
Tickets for Waterford & Sligo are on sale now with the rest of the tour dates going on sale this Friday at 10am.
McIntyre has quickly become one of Ireland’s most talked-about new voices. His breakout single “Over Galway Town” has now clocked over 5 million streams on Spotify, landing him in viral charts alongside global names.
His last EP, Chapter 23, saw fan favourites “West Is Home” and “Grá” connect in a big way, hitting 250k streams in the first week alone and setting him up as one of the brightest new acts in the folk-pop space. Now, Jamie is ready to take things a step further with his brand new EP ‘For Folk’s Sake’ set to be released on September 26th, led by the brand-new single “You’ve Got It All”, out now.
With fans already drawing comparisons to the likes of Amble and Kingfishr, if the past year has been about breaking through, 2026 looks set to be the year he takes things to a whole new level.
