London based Alt-Pop queer quartet Supersaurus are a non-binary fronted girl band that have been collaborating on their self produced sad-pop-bangers since 2022. They specialise in relatable pop that speaks to the isolation and chaos of growing up as part of the LGBTQIA+ community in a straight coded society.
Wish I’d Never Met You’ wastes absolutely no time beating around the bush- it’s an empowering two and a half minute blast of foot stomping drum beats, strumming guitars and direct, direct lyrics about that haunting, all too familiar, nightmarish ex romantic interest you long to turn back time to never cross paths with. To put it bluntly in their own words:
“This song is about THAT ex. You know the one, everyone has that one ex they wish they’d never met.”
After being featured on Spotify’s “Hot New Bands”, “Peach” and “Milk” editorial playlists, support landing from Alyx Holcombe’s BBC Introducing Rock show on Radio 1, and their song ‘Safe’ featuring on Made In Chelsea, Supersaurus launch themselves into 2024 with infectious new single ‘Wish I’d Never Met You’.
