Dublin upstarts Hotgirl announce ‘Blast Off’ EP, arriving April 10th via Cartoon Records fresh from supporting the likes of Sprints, Pillow Queens, Fat Dog and Cliffords in the second half of 2024. Hotgirl’s unbridled live energy has already captivated audiences nationwide and certainly helped establish the quartet as one of the standout acts in Ireland’s thrilling emerging music scene.
Readying themselves for a breakout year, the band, marshalled by enigmatic front-woman Ashley Abbedeen, and ably supported by the angular lead guitar lines of Sophie Boxwell, the booming breakbeats of Nick Stanley and the low-end thump of Jake Hurley (Local Boy), are primed to release their upcoming EP this spring, having collaborated with esteemed producer Neil Kennedy (Milk Teeth, Creeper) on their forthcoming material.
