Ratchet Blade Records is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the No Peace – Split EP the Heathen Apostles and Vladiators split EP, arriving June 5th.
For the Heathen Apostles, the remix format has become a distinct and deliberate part of their catalog. Their 2025 release, Requiem For A Remix, demonstrated the depth and versatility of their work when filtered through outside perspectives – and this EP continues that tradition; their sound lends itself to reinterpretation without ever losing its essential character.
Joining them on this release are the Vladiators, a newly formed gothic and doom dub act making their recorded debut here. Though the band is new, the people behind it are not — the Vladiators bring together a lineup of experienced musicians, and their contribution to this EP signals a promising and fully-realized arrival rather than a tentative first step. The Vladiators are a collective built around vocalist/multi-instrumentalists Chopper Franklin (The Cramps), Gav King (Fields of the Nephilim), and Mather Louth (Radio Noir) — three genre veterans fusing dark, heavy songwriting with deep, post-punk dub production.
