Heartfelt indie pop single ‘The Moment’s Gone’ from ROE – out 28/03 ahead of Workmans Dublin headline

The Moment’s Gone

“This song is about falling into a routine and trying to claw your way back out. There were a few months at the start of last year where no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get out of the daze I was in. I didn’t want much of anything and every day bled into the next.

I watched a lot of movies during that time and Groundhog Day eventually made the cut. A weird and oddly specific connection was formed and shortly after ‘The Moment’s Gone’ was written.”

ROE released her debut album ‘That’s When The Panic Sets In’ on September 23rd, 2022. Described by The Irish Times as an “exceptionally sophisticated succession of confessional songs”, it is a truly vibrant release, with rich contrast between ROE’s introspective anxieties and the colourful palette that she’s thrown across them.

After taking a break throughout 2023, ROE is back in 2025 with a new collection of songs and a fresh outlook on songwriting, performing, and her place in the industry. Staunchly independent, ROE has achieved all that she has without any label or publishing involvement, rather focussing on building a small and dedicated team. Her first single of 2025, “The Moment’s Gone”, is out this Friday 28th March ahead of her Workmans Dublin headliner on May 22nd
