Dublin indie grunge / alt-rock band HAVVK (pronounced Hawk) played their album launch show at The Workmans Club cellar venue. This grunge-fuelled / shoegaze three piece with vocals from Julie Hawk which at times are reminiscent of Björk, played a blinder as they ran through their hits and the crowd in this intimate venue lapped it up from start to finish.
Opening act were ones to watch out for Dose, fronted by Lizzie Fitzpatrick who some might remember fronted Dublin grunge-rock band Bitch Falcon.
