Monday night in Dublin was electric as Indian rapper Hanumankind brought his explosive energy to The Academy for his first-ever Irish show part of his OTW Europe 2025 Tour and it did not disappoint. As he said himself “This is my first Irish show, but it definitely won’t be the last”
Born Sooraj Cherukat and raised in Kerala, India, Hanumankind has been making serious waves with his hard-hitting lyrics, genre-bending beats, and fiercely independent artistry. Known for blending razor-sharp English verses with Indian cultural references, he’s redefining what Indian hip-hop looks and sounds like on the global stage.
From the moment he hit the stage, the crowd was locked in. Every bar and every drop had the room bouncing. Fans screamed lyrics back at him with fire in their lungs, and every time he spoke in his native tongue, the crowd erupted in cheers a beautiful nod to his roots and proof that his music crosses borders with ease.
The energy was relentless. Hanumankind brought intense stage presence, commanding the crowd like a seasoned headliner, not a debut act. Whether it was his fast-paced delivery, sharp hooks, or the way he connected with the audience between songs, he owned the stage from start to finish.
