Self-described psychedelic R’nB singer Greentea Peng played a blistering set at The Academy Dublin, the vibe was so chilled and relaxed as Aria and band played a eighteen strong set of mellow reggae/soul/ R&B tunes to and even more mellow and laid back crowd.
It was one of those shows where you just closed your eyes and drifted away to lands unknown and whish you didn’t have to return from.
Songs like ‘Loving Kind’ / ‘Spells’ / ‘Mr Sun’ to name a few, just drifted out from the stage and over the crowd so nicely and the stage lights were kept low as the smell of incense also was wafting around the venue because before the band took to the stage one of the crew walked the stage and performed a cleansing.
Opening the night came from South London artist, MC, and producer Goya Gumbani.
