Gemma Hayes – announces Roesy and How I Became A Wave as supports for Irish Autumn Tour

Acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Gemma Hayes has announced that Roesy and How I Became A Wave will join her as special guests on her upcoming Irish Autumn Tour, which comes off the back of last year’s critically acclaimed album Blind Faith.

These Irish shows follow a run of sold-out London dates earlier this month, including two nights at St. Pancras Old Church and a third at The Lexington – a testament to Gemma’s enduring appeal and connection with audiences.

Gemma’s Irish tour begins on Thursday 26th September at Whelan’s, Dublin, followed by Friday 27th September at Róisín Dubh, Galway, Saturday 18th October at Cyprus Avenue, Cork, and Thursday 7th November at Dolan’s, Limerick. She will also play festival slots at Vantastival in Louth and Ballina Fringe Festival in Mayo.

Speaking ahead of the shows, Gemma Hayes said:

“There’s a real poignancy for me around these upcoming shows in Ireland. They signify the end of a year-long campaign to promote my latest album, Blind Faith. I wanted to finish this tour right back where it all began in Whelans, Dublin. A venue that shaped so many of us as artists and as audience members. If only those walls could speak! I love my band so much and we have put together a setlist that spans every album. You may need earplugs for some songs!

As for what’s next, I’m experimenting with new toys in the studio and working on new songs – perhaps for an EP, who knows! My plan is not to leave it for another ten years. There’ll be some very interesting collaborations and projects over 2026. As for now, I’m so buzzed to get on that stage in Whelans again.”
