Johnluke is a singer/songwriter and musician from Portumna, Co Galway. His debut single “Already Been Told” was released in March 2024 and now eight singles later he has plenty more music on the way. Johnluke’s music signature comes with a genre bending pop/folk/country style in with a natural passion for storytelling, his heartfelt lyrics with a blend of captivating melodies creates a soulful sound within his songs that resonates with all ages. Johnluke is making a name for himself in the Irish music industry as one to watch since Galway Bay FM made him a finalist for Irish Music Month 2024. Recently, Johnluke was in Todays FM’s Top 5 emerging Irish artists as part of their campaign “Irelands Next Big Busker 2025” Which saw Johnluke supported by Dave Moore as his chosen busker to
win the competition. As eventual runner up he raised vital funds in aid of Focus Ireland.
Johnluke has played at iconic venues and festivals across Ireland and been seen regularly at Quays Bar Galway, Mike the Pies Listowel, CASK Limerick and pinned his first festival playing as part of RiverFest 2024 in Shannonbridge supporting LYRA. May of 2025 saw Johnluke play to 2 sold out audiences at the Whelan’s Dublin supporting Mark O’Donnell and Jamie Mcintyre.
He has also received support from Miriam O’Callaghan on RTE Radio 1 inviting him for a special studio 8 session performing two songs City Lovin’ and Green Eyes from his upcoming EP “Comical Romance Vol.1”
