Gaeya – releases ‘Different In My Time’ video & announces debut London live show

Swedish Earth Music artist Gaeya has announced her debut London live performance which will take place at Piano Smithfield on November 12th 2026. Tickets are on sale now here.

Gaeya’s first ever performance in London promises an intimate experience blending expansive Scandinavian sonics alongside mindful thoughts and conversation with a grounding focus on Earth, and our delicate connection to our planet. It is set to leave the audience empowered with hope for a positive future. The bill is completed by fellow Scandinavian artist Malin Andersson and British singer/songwriter Tom Cameron.

Regarding the show Gaeya says, “To play in London feels like coming home again for me. I lived in London for quite a few years before the pandemic and used to play in other musical projects around the city, so to finally bring GAEYA to London feels amazing! And to share the evening with the talented Malin Andersson and Tom Cameron makes it even more special. It will be an amazing evening of heartfelt connection and a chance to return to a place of curiosity and stillness at this lovely venue, Piano. I can’t wait to finally bring a little bit of the Nordic forests to London.”

The show follows the release of Gaeya’s latest EP Growth, a perfect paring of past and present, finding Gaeya pulling from the sonics of her Nordic ancestry, while propelling sounds into the future with a rich tapestry of electronics produced by Anders Rane. It follows her acclaimed 2021 debut EP Awakening, which symbolised the first wave of awareness that many people experienced—a moment of questioning: “What do I truly want from my life?”. The Growth EP now arrives to offer support along that path, inviting us, and sometimes pushing us, to grow.

With the show announcement Gaeya has today release the video for new single ‘Different In My Time’, taken from the Growth EP. ‘Different In My Time’ leads with an enthralling Nordic chant from Gaeya, a wordless expression rising from within, carrying a deep connection to the Earth and expressing what lies beyond words. She delivers the chorus and determined message in English, “It is different in my time”, as euphoric synths develop.

Explaining this message Gaeya says, “The reason that we used this line, “It is different in my time”, was to explore a way you get to say everything you want with only one sentence. Exploring both with curiosity and devotion. But also to use the sentence to set boundaries, putting down affirmations. How much can be said within one sentence by exploring the concept of time and how our thoughts, emotions and actions have an affect on time itself.

It is time to stand up for the things you believe in and say no to the things that don’t sit right with you. In a time where democracy is decaying it is time for the humans to raise their voices and start questioning the authorities of the people who led us here. Remembering we all have a free will and we together create the future.”

The beautiful video captures glacial Nordic winter landscapes, centred around a flowing river and icy waterfall, while Gaeya performs as one with the stunning nature that surrounds her.

Continuing about nature and the world around us, our connection and that of ‘Different In My Time’ to it, Gaeya says, “Humans are capable of so much more than destroying the planet for greed serving in a made-up system. I believe we are conscious beings able to support life and thrive together with this beautiful planet once we start to work differently with the earth instead of against her.

Life is something sacred, something that is given to us to be able to explore this specific moment in time. Start using this experience for good, for love, to create with nature and with humans where life is included.

We are so much more that passive acceptors of information given to us, we are creators so let’s start creating a world that is free, where humans and nature become one. There is no separation between us and the planet, and it will never be. The water that flows in you, flows in me and flows in every living thing on this planet. Let the water be sacred, let it be protected- because we are nature.”

Regarding the Growth EP Gaeya says, “We hope that Growth can be a source of support for anyone moving through a challenging period in life, playing as a reminder that you are not alone. We are all walking this journey together, and perhaps now more than ever, it is time to join forces, support one another, and grow through these transformative times together.”
