Forest Fest is Ireland’s boutique music festival, delivering the kind of line-ups you thought you’d never see again — Indie, Rock and Dance legends alongside the very best in Irish Trad and Folk and the hottest new music.
Forest Fest has just been shortlisted for Best Festival at the Midlands 103 Hospitality Awards – up against stiff competition from Electric Picnic, The National Ploughing Championships and more. Forest Fest has previously won the award on two occasions. It was also ranked fourth best festival in Ireland by the Irish Times after the 2024 edition – placing it ahead of long-established events and festivals; a remarkable achievement for such a young festival. 2026’s event will be the fifth edition of Forest Fest.
Conceived by Laois native Philip Meagher, Forest Fest transforms the village of Emo, Co. Laois into a walkable, world-class festival site where everything is on your doorstep — from stages and food vendors to camping and parking. With an unwavering focus on music quality, comfort, and convenience, Forest Fest has quickly become one of Ireland’s best-loved festivals, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming experience for music lovers from across the country and beyond.
July saw record-breaking crowds flock to the picturesque village of Emo, with gig goers drawn by the festival’s unique atmosphere and standout performances from headliners Franz Ferdinand, Manic Street Preachers, Travis and more.
