Wallis Bird – releases ‘I’m Your Witness’, the second single from her upcoming album, I Can See Your House From Here.

One of Ireland’s most beloved songwriters and performers, Wallis Bird today releases ‘I’m Your Witness’, the second single from her upcoming eighth studio album, I Can See Your House From Here.

The track describes the intersection of private heartbreak and collective grief, serving as both a call for solidarity and an urgent plea for community.

Written between October 2023 and December 2025, the song emerged from a period of profound reflection following the crisis in Gaza and the sudden passing of Bird’s close friend and collaborator, Kevin Ryan. It is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves “safe passage in this life” and the compassionate care of their neighbors.

Reflecting on the track, Bird explains:

“I’m Your Witness is about standing up for and speaking up for your fellow human beings, specifically for the people of Gaza. They have asked us to bear witness to what’s happening to them and speak up and stand up for them, where they can’t. And it’s also a call to community, that we may have patience and compassion for one another, because we all deserve a safe passage in this life, and that’s what this song is about. I will not look away. I will be your witness.”

The Upcoming Album I Can See Your House From Here is set for release on June 5, 2026.

The new record marks a significant milestone: for the first time in her career, Bird has taken the lead as sole producer.

The album I Can See Your House From Here was crafted at her 150-year-old farmhouse outside Berlin, surrounded by a long-standing community of collaborators, including Aidan Floatinghome, Sam Vance-Law, and her partner Tracey Kelliher.

You can catch Wallis Bird perform at the TED Conference in Vancouver from April 13–17, followed by an appearance at Jacob Collier’s Hideaway Retreat in Italy from August 8–12. This leads to the I Can See Your Tour From Here headlining dates, set to be held in Ireland throughout September with a Germany tour following in October.
