Flipturn – Burnout Days Tour – Live Gallery and Review at The Button Factory 13.11.25
On a crisp autumn night in Temple Bar, Florida indie-rock outfit Flipturn brought a wave of sun-soaked nostalgia to The Button Factory. The intimate venue proved the perfect backdrop for the band’s free sounding, Summer anthems.
Lead singer Dillon Basse carries a balance of vulnerability and charisma that defines Flipturn’s sound. His voice moved effortlessly from softer confessions to explosive choruses that filled every corner of the venue.
The band’s chemistry was undeniable and Jarman’s basslines were as hypnotic live as on record, while Mitch Fountain’s synth textures added an ethereal quality to tracks like “Whales” and “Halfway.” There’s an infectious joy in how Flipturn play – the kind that makes you forget you’re indoors on a dark Dublin night.
When the band launched into “August” for the encore it was purely cathartic. The perfect indie-esque moment where nostalgia, youth, and hope all hit at once. We hope to see the group on our shores again soon.
