Emerging folk/rock singer songwriter El Rey – set to unleash captivating new single  ‘Truth And Love Against The Force Of Evil’ on July 11th

El Rey is a true DIY storyteller from Newry, in the North of Ireland – a voice shaped by grit, heart, and songs that punch through the noise. Born from the ashes of bands that fell apart and a dream nearly left behind, El Rey emerged with nothing but a promise to keep, a suitcase full of ambition, and songs that refused to stay quiet.

Chasing that spark, he moved to Manchester – busking on street corners, playing every open mic going, watching bands rise and fade. But instead of giving up, he built something new. Armed with a loop pedal and a hunger to be heard, El Rey crafted a sound with the weight and energy of a full band — raw, real, and impossible to ignore.

His musical career pre and post El Rey has taken him from back rooms to sold-out venues like Night & Day, Manchester’s Academy 3 & Club Academy, The Leadmill in Sheffield supporting RRC and onto the stages of Isle of Wight, Y Not, and Truck Festival. He has had songs soundtracked on Radio X, BT Sport, Channel 4, and TV staples like Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, Come Dine with Me, World’s Strongest Man, and The Brit Awards.

El Rey has earned Track of the Week honors from Radio X’s Gordon Smart and John Kennedy, won the Manchester Pale Ale Refreshing Sounds competition (handpicked by Clint Boon of Inspiral Carpets), and appeared in a full Amazon Prime episode featuring his sold-out live show and story.

With hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify and a growing cult following, El Rey is steadily building something real — with heart, hooks, and hustle  and El Rey is just getting started.

TRUTH AND LOVE AGAINST THE FORCE OF EVIL

Truth and Love Against the Force of Evil’ doesn’t demand a fight – it reminds you one is already happening, whether you noticed or not. And when the smoke clears, when the sky turns strange and familiar again, the only thing left standing might be us – if we remember who we are.

There’s a storm humming just beneath the static. Conspiracy theories ringing truer by the day. Governments and the mainstream media distracting you with one hand and funding genocide with the other and trying to cancel anyone who has the balls to speak up.  The guilty being pardoned, agendas being pushed, propaganda keeping us all divided, war hungry politicians run by globalists and people  glued to their screens choosing to turn a blind eye and only one conclusion is that we need a revolution.

It’s not a sermon – It’s a spark. A hymn for the ones watching the world tilt, who still believe that truth and love aren’t obsolete technologies.
