Elvis Costello And Steve Nieve took to the Vicar Street Stage on Friday night for their first slot of 4 nights in the Dublin Venue.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Elvis Costello was your friend who would just pop over to the house for a cup of coffee in the living room and a little sing song? Well, if you were there on Friday night, you sure got an insight into what that would feel like.
A well-mannered, seated, chilled audience got to witness Elvis put on a show and interact with the crowd as if we were just catching up on old times. Whilst sipping on his coffee, Himself and Nieve filled the room with excitement and anticipation for each song.
Vicar Street was turned into a beautiful Film Noir-esque movie set with the stage adorning some beautiful lighting and the seated crowd certainly added to the mood. Elvis looking as cool as ever, wearing his now signature hat and dark shades.
A beautiful night full of fan favourite tracks.
