SMO is a Dublin / Liverpool based singer songwriter whose music blends rich and raw authenticity into his unique sound, as portrayed perfectly in the new single White Flag via Coastal Sound Recordings.
White Flag was produced by Rich Turvey (Blossoms, The Wombats, The Courteeners, Royston Club) and has an opening that’s simply to die for, continuing with the kind of infectious melodies, rhythms and keyboards that should one day thrill a field full of festival goers on a warm summer’s evening.
Having released several previous tracks to a hugely positive response from an ever increasing audience, earning a growing live following in the process, SMO will continue to release new music in the autumn and into next year. And with a refreshing confidence and self-belief – his handle on social media, for instance, is smo-rockstar – this is probably just the beginning.
